👑 OG Verification Rules

How tokensearch.fun identifies and labels Original tokens

What "OG" Means

OG = the oldest token minted on Pump.fun with a matching ticker and/or name combination.

Only Pump.fun minted tokens are eligible (contract address ends in pump).

Determined by on-chain creation timestamp — earliest mint wins.

Text search: Oldest token with the exact same ticker symbol (case-insensitive).

CA lookup: System derives the ticker from your CA, then searches ALL tokens with that ticker to find the oldest one.

If your CA token is the oldest among all tokens with that ticker → you get OG status.

Example: CA for "Liquid" token gets compared against ALL other "Liquid" tokens across the database.

Oldest token matching both the ticker and name (label) exactly.

When a token qualifies for both OG Ticker AND OG Ticker+Name, only the green 👑 OG TICKER+NAME badge shows.

Badge consolidation prevents spam while highlighting the highest achievement.

When you search by contract address, the token is marked with a 📋 CA Lookup badge.

Shows either 👑 OG Ticker or Not OG Ticker based on age comparison.

Also shows either 👑 OG Ticker+Name or Not OG Combo for transparency.

Client-side detection ensures real-time accuracy against the latest token data.

Bright gold glow + sparkles — OG Hero card (CA lookup that IS the OG).

Orange glow — Regular OG card when a hero card is present (visual separation).

Gold glow — Regular OG card when no hero card exists (standalone).

Red border — CA lookup that is NOT the OG.

Client-side detection: OG status calculated in your browser using live token data for maximum accuracy.

Database-wide comparison: Every token is compared against the entire token database, not just search results.

Real-time updates: No cached results — always reflects the current state of all tokens.

Smart cleanup: "$PEPE" and "PEPE" treated as identical, case-insensitive matching.

The 👑 OG sort button prioritizes OG Ticker+Name tokens first, then OG Ticker, then the rest.

CA lookup token is always pinned first regardless of sort order.
